NORMAN Greg Jungman of 624 S. Lahoma Avenue, announced his candidacy for the Ward 4 of the
Norman City Council.
Jungman and his wife, Julie, along with their two children are 10-year residents of Norman’s Historic neighborhoods. Jungman is known for staying closely involved in community issues having made presentations before the Historic Commission, Planning Commission, and the City Council.
In response to the most important question: why are you running for city council? Jungman said, “I believe in Norman. We are a great community, and great communities do great things. I want to be at the table when those decisions are made. I want my friends and neighbors to know that someone they trust is there when the city they love is on the line.”
Jungman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs, and a Master of Public Administration, both from the University of Oklahoma. Jungman has over 10 years of continuous service to the US government as a civilian federal employee and manager.
